D'Stephanie is one of hottest producers to emerge from the Belgian club scene where she is one of the most in-demand club residents. As well as her Belgian residencies she has played around the world from Rome to Paris and Amsterdam to Barcelona pushing the boundaries of dance music through broken beat- nu soul- afro- House- ElectroFunk- freestyle breaks and Jamaican riddims.
In September 2005 Stephanie released her 'Rock the Disco' and 'Funk up my Day' EP on Jalapeno. This is still, to this day, a must for the discerning funk breaks DJ. She has also released tracks on hip labels such as Sonar Kollektiv and her album Droppin’ came out on the respected Belgian label NEWS. Now in 2008 with her long time collaborator and vocalist Philippo on board, she is once again dropping Jalapeno bombs with “Nasty” and “Dizzy” two slices of funk breaking nirvana as our first lady of funk comes on strong.
