All conquering live funk band The Apples have a secret that is about to become very well known. Radio Trip is the studio project of two of their founder members MixMonster (Uri Wertheim) and Schoolmaster (Ofer Tal). The Tel Aviv based producers, cut & paste artists and keen vinyl junkies are well known radio DJ’s in their home country.
Schoolmaster – developed a passion for vinyl records from the age of ten – now-a-days an addicted digger and ultimate collector of rarities vinyl. He is also a leading DJ/Turntablist in the Tel Aviv scene.
Mixmonster – began his early youth as a record collector, playing and recording as the vocalist and guitarist in various rock bands. After finishing a degree in Sound engineering, he became a busy recording/live engineer, a teacher and head of electronic department at "Hed" Music School, Tel Aviv.
Their wide range of influences led them to create a unique musical blend unconstrained by anything except their imaginations. |
