Gigs at Glastonbury festival, Sziget, Coachella, Lowlands and SXSW, winning an EBBA prize, playing live on Jimmy Kimmel’s Late Night Show, supplying DJ mixes for Annie Mac and making an award-winning music video that gained support from Kanye West.  These are just some of the long list of achievements for Dutch production trio, Kraak & Smaak. However, it didn’t happen overnight. 

 

Oscar, Mark and Wim’s first release with us was back in 2003.  The three-track, ‘Money In The Bag EP’ is a timeless and funky record that marked the beginning of a beautiful partnership spanning tonnes of singles, dozens of dancefloor ready remixes and five full-length albums (Boogie Angst, Plastic People, Electric Hustle, Chrome Waves and Juicy Fruit).  Dig in to this discography and you will find…pretty much anything you want!  Absolute disco-fuel party anthems, catchy pop bangers, nostalgic and dark swayers or poolside chillout tunes for the morning after, it is a discography to fulfil any musical needs and the definition of a track for every mood. Today, whilst the partnership drew to its natural conclusion in 2020, the friendship still remains as Kraak & Smaak continue to share their work to the world via their own label, Boogie Angst. And it goes without saying that the flying Dutchmen’s achievements, awards and landmarks have all been duly earned through momentous talent, boundless stamina and hardwork.  It’s been a pleasure, boys!
